Updates
— Guides, and pages per model
- Added dedicated pages for images, video, Nano Banana and Google Flow and Veo.
- Published a plain-English guide to the Gemini watermark, including what SynthID is and why it cannot be removed.
- Added before-and-after examples and a comparison with other approaches.
— Video quality
- Corrections are now smoothed across neighbouring frames, so the cleaned corner no longer shimmers during motion.
- Added a tidy-up pass along the logo's soft edge, where video compression leaves a faint trace.
- Audio is kept by default, with an option to drop it.
— Cleaner removal
- The watermark's position and opacity are now measured from real Gemini files rather than estimated, so the area underneath is restored instead of blurred.
- Files that do not carry the Gemini sparkle are returned completely untouched, so a clean picture can never be damaged by mistake.
- Both the standard and larger watermark sizes are recognised automatically.
Google adjusts its models over time. When a new watermark variant appears, the measurements are refreshed and noted here — if a file of yours is not recognised, please tell us.
