Why this exists
Gemini puts a sparkle in the corner of everything it generates. Most tools that offer to take it off do the same crude thing — erase the area and let a model paint over the hole — which smears detail and often looks worse than the logo did. That seemed like a solvable problem, because the watermark is not random: it is the same shape, in the same place, at the same transparency, every single time.
So instead of guessing what was underneath, this tool measures the watermark once against real Gemini output and then reverses the blend. What comes back is the detail that was actually there. The measurement work, and the checks that prove the result matches a reference implementation, are the real substance of the project — the page you are reading is just the front door.
How it is built
Everything runs in your browser. There is no account, no queue and no server doing the work, which is why it is free and why your files never leave your device. It also means the tool cannot see what you process, by design rather than by policy.
What we will not claim
The invisible SynthID watermark stays in your file. We will not pretend otherwise, and we would treat any tool that claims to strip it as one to avoid. Removing the visible sparkle is a formatting fix, not a way to hide that something was made with AI — and being upfront about AI use is usually the right call anyway.
